So we have more people with the stomach virus tonight so I’m going with simple and mild.
I’m even using canned soup! I like to use milk when I use canned soup, instead of water. It makes it creamier and more flavorful. Trader Joes has some really good soups, if you want something a little better than the ol’ red and white can give those a try.
Use real butter and real cheese (we use cheddar, sometimes adding mozzarella for a deluxe grilled cheese)
Good bread is optional but makes it so much better. Some people in my file insist on white bread but I love it with whole grain or whole wheat. Mix it up and add a new twist to this classic.
Blend up a healthy smoothie to round out this meal and add in some fruits and veggies. Either that or just stick some cut up fresh fruit, or even a fresh fruit salad, on the table.
That’s it. Easy and filling.
